Glastonbury festival officially gets underway today at the festival

As the Glastonbury festival officially gets underway today at the festival, many braving the mud and the fields will be, you can see the features of U2, Coldplay and Beyonce perform live on the main stage all except Kate Moss, that is.

Glastonbury organizer Michael Eavis said that other campers at Mass this weekend with "muck in" is a must. To enjoy the event, he wants the luxury of private TV PlayStation VIP tent, where models usually have a big party every year is the most closed of Glasto.

Eavis revealed in a statement that the event is also being gentrified extravagant showbiz celeb guests are requested to limit the amount.

“Michael feels Glastonbury has already become too middle class and gentrified, and is adamant that the festival continues to attract a range of ages, ethnicites and classes. Not just showbiz wannabes,” reports The Mirror.

“Kate has been a great patron of the festival over the years but Michael believes the last couple of festivals have become too much about the Kate Moss show – and not enough about grass-roots music. Each year Kate takes over the PlayStation tent which is basically pitched as the VVIP party of the weekend. Mere mortals don’t stand a chance of gaining entry.”

But Kate Glastonbury is not completely banned until two men because she's pitching a tent next to us with just the right person.

“Similarly, Kate is welcome to attend but only if she mucks in with everyone else, and doesn’t insist upon any special treatment.”
