Glastonbury batch of tickets have sold in a two hours

Glastonbury Festival for this year event the batch of tickets have sold out.

Which event will present at June 24-26, its tickets went on sold at 9am (GMT) on 17th April, sold in a two hours.

The event tickets for standard have priced £195, were snapped up within an hour, with coach and ticket packages soon following.

Writing on the festival's official Twitter page, Twitter.com/GlastoFest, event bosses commented: "Apologies to those of you who didn't get a ticket - demand hugely outstripped supply, so unfortunately some people had to miss out."

Festival organizers revealed in this week full headline which added U2 present at 24 June, Coldplay perform at 25th June while Beyonce at 26th June, they are revealed at the Pyramid Stage.

Other acts on the bill include Morrissey, Wu Tang Clan, Primal Scream, Plan B, The Streets and Hurts.

Glastonbury Festival 2011 which takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton on June 24-26, with the site opening on June 22.
