Paul Simon can perform in this year Glastonbury Festival 2011, according to reports in the UK.
Singer songwriter recently in June and July for a six date UK tour was announced, but a possible Glastonbury slot that really has tongues wagging it.
As Rolling Stone has informed on Wednesday, Simon and Garfunkel legend is confirmed that the reason for playing "A couple of festivals, maybe more."
He added, "I want to play a lot of music from the new album and music from my repertoire that I either haven't played in concert or have played very seldom -- move it away from a greatest hits show that's more appropriate to an arena."
U2, Coldplay, Beyonce and Mumford and Sons have already been confirmed.
